Prayer

When you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

Resources for Prayer

Daughters of the King

The Daughters of the King is an Order for women communicants of the Episcopal Church. Founded in 1885, DOK members undertake a Rule of Life incorporating the Rule of Prayer and the Rule of Service. A daughter pledges herself to a lifelong program of prayer, service and evangelism strengthening the spiritual life of the parish. We pray daily for those in need and our service include distributing Prayer Shawls made by parish members to those in need.

Women 18 and older are welcome to discover what it means to pledge yourself to the order. Meetings are held the second Sunday of the month at 2:00 pm in the Family Life Center located on the rear of the church campus.

Anyone interested in joining may contact Janice Roberts at (407) 687-3767.
