Our St. Peter’s family is committed to the great liturgy, or work of the people, in our Worship, Fellowship with each other, Discipleship and small group study, Ministry and Mission volunteer work. Each week in June we will have opportunities to appreciate each other and celebrate our work in the community. Click here for a list of our Member Appreciation weekend activities.

Join us in our Week of Service: June 12 – 17
While our Mountain of Hope team is in Honduras, we will serve local needs in our community; ages 5 to 95 can serve. Daytime, evening and Saturday options are available; space is limited, so be sure to sign up on this site or at the Ministry table on Sundays.

We have over 130 opportunities to serve the community during our week of service! Let’s have fun! Pick one, or two, that sounds fun for you and your family and join us!

The Ronald McDonald House®, provides a home away from home for families with children receiving treatment at hospitals and medical facilities in Orlando. Before the Ronald McDonald Houses, parents were sleeping in their cars or in chairs in the waiting room, eating out of vending machines, or bearing the expense of impersonal hotel rooms.

There are three Ronald McDonald Houses in Orlando– Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, Florida Hospital for Children and Nemours Children’s Hospital. Each year, about 2,000 families stay with us to be close to their critically ill children.

St. Peter’s will serve at the RMH at Florida Hospital for Children

The volunteer team will cook and serve a meal, lunch or dinner. The team will meet prior to our share-a-meal day to determine the  meal and procure all ingredients.

Feeding Children Everywhere and St. Peter’s Episcopal Church will be teaming up to assemble thousands of healthy meals. Through our assembly line model, volunteers will be mobilized to hand package meals during a one hour Hunger Project in a high energy, fun, competitive, team building atmosphere.
